1984 - "Alchemy", was a double live album, released in 1984. This has to be one of the best live albums ever released , not may bands sound better live than recorded but believe me Dire Straits do on this Alchemy live album . Mark Knopfler is in his element when playing live and his guitar skills shine on the extended live songs on this album , they take you away to somewhere so much better than the here and now .
