🚨BOMBSHELL: Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes — the same judge who clashed with @elonmusk during Brazil’s 2024 push to ban X — is now facing growing calls for impeachment and arrest.
The pressure stems from a massive banking-fraud scandal linked to the collapse of Banco Master.
Moraes’ wife's law firm reportedly received about $25M in legal-services fees from the bank before it imploded amid a multibillion-dollar fraud probe.
Federal Police forensic analysis of jailed banker Daniel Vorcaro’s phone reportedly uncovered WhatsApp messages sent to Judge Moraes on the morning of Vorcaro’s November 17, 2025 arrest, asking whether he had managed to “block” his arrest as authorities closed in.
Investigators say Moraes replied with “view-once” messages that automatically disappear after being opened, leaving their contents unrecoverable.
Police also reportedly identified earlier disappearing or deleted exchanges, phone calls between the two, and messages in which Vorcaro described meeting Moraes in 2025.
Moraes has denied the messages were his — but Brazilian newspaper O Globo reported this week that a Federal Police technical analysis linked the phone number directly to the Supreme Court justice.
In 2024, Elon Musk labeled Moraes "the dictator of Brazil" and warned that the Justice "repeatedly and egregiously violates Brazilian law."
Musk famously predicted: "Moraes will end up in prison for his many crimes. That is his destiny," even posting an AI-generated image of Moraes behind bars with the warning, "This picture of you in prison will be real. Mark my words."
Now, a growing coalition of Brazilian officials are demanding that Moraes face impeachment and criminal charges.
Can Brazil successfully remove the corrupt dictator running its juristocracy?
