1975 - The second North American Trials Council National Series produced a new observed trials champion, 17-year-old Marland Whaley.
Whaley joined the Honda Team for the '75 campaign. And so, for the second consecutive year, Honda has come up with a 17-year-old San Diego based national champion.
A national champion still too young for international competition. And one other thing. The four-stroke is back in observed trials. It may not be English, but it still thumps.
